Terms of service

These are the terms for using Scale AI, a subscription service from Pynk AI. By creating an account you agree to them. They are short on purpose.

What the service is

Scale AI is an AI marketing consultant. You describe your business; it answers your marketing questions using a library of marketing playbooks and the numbers you gave it. It is advice to weigh, not instructions to follow blindly. You know your business, your market and your customers better than any software does, and decisions about your business remain yours.

Your account

One account runs one business. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your login. You must be at least 18 and using the service for a business, not as a consumer.

Price, trial and billing

• The price is $497 per month, billed monthly in advance by card through Stripe. A valid card is required to start.
• New accounts get a 14-day free trial. Nothing is charged until the trial ends; cancel before then and you pay nothing.
• A founders' offer, when one is available, is applied with a code at checkout and keeps its price for as long as that subscription stays active.
• You can cancel at any time from Settings → Manage billing. Your access continues to the end of the period you have paid for; there are no refunds for part of a month.
• If a payment fails, you get seven days to update your card before the consultant is paused. Your business file is never locked.
• Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice by email; a change never applies mid-period.

Fair use

Each business may ask up to 400 questions per calendar month. That is far more than a person asks; it exists so a runaway script cannot run up our costs. The app tells you when you are near it and when it resets.

Don't use the service to break the law, to generate content that harms others, to probe or overload the system, or to resell the answers as your own product. We may suspend an account that does.

Your data

Everything you enter stays yours. We use it only to answer your questions, as the privacy policy describes, and you can delete all of it from Settings at any time.

What we promise and what we don't

We will keep the service running, keep your data protected, and tell you before anything important changes. We do not promise any particular business result: the advice is generated by an AI model from the information you provide, it can be wrong, and it is not a substitute for a lawyer, accountant or financial adviser. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim.

Ending things

You can cancel or delete your account at any time. We may close the service with 30 days' notice, and we may close an account that breaks these terms. Either way, you can export your business file first by copying it from "Your business".
